Create Your Own – Porridge Cakes by Lee Bishop, mum of two

Ingredients:

450g  porridge oats

570ml whole fat milk

 

Optional Items:

Frozen raspberries

Pinch of cinnamon

Grated Apple

Raisins

Mashed Banana

Any fruit puree (just don’t add too much to make the mixture too wet)

 

Method:

Pre-heat the oven to 180*

Mix the oats and milk and ensure all the oats are well covered.

Fold in one or two of your optional extras.

Spoon into a greased muffin tin / cake cases

Add some extra topping on top of each porridge cake.

Pop into the oven for 12-15 mins

Allow to cool and serve!
