Ratatouille by Nanny Joyce from the Grandparent Hub


Dash of olive oil

Half an onion

Small courgette

1 small pepper

Half tin of chopped tomatoes



  • Fry off the onion in the olive oil until it’s tender
  • Cut up the vegetables into small chunks and remove any seeds
  • Pop these into a pan and cook for 5 mins
  • Then add the chopped tomatoes. Cooking until all the ingredients have reduced down
  • For older children you can serve as is or reduce it down further by popping into a blender.
