with Lucy Thomas from Organix
This workshop has now ended but you can catch up by watching the video below.
As a feeding consultant, I have plethora of experience working with families whose children have become anxious eaters or incredibly selective about the food they will or won’t eat; due to pre-existing health conditions including severe reflux, allergies and intolerances, NG tube and Peg feeding, as well as coeliac disease.
As a Mum of two girls who have their fair share of intolerances, allergies and reflux fussiness as babies, I can wholeheartedly empathise with the challenges and anxieties that can arise for you as a parent or carer trying to cater for your baby’s dietary requirements and nutritional needs.
Today we will be tackling topics such as reflux, allergies, gluten free and dairy free diets and also discussing vegan or vegetarian weaning.
Lucy is a feeding consultant and fussy eating specialist with over 20 years of experience working with children and families.
Founder and Author of Mange Tout Kids, and Mum to two girls who both have a variety of allergies and their own selective eating habits – clearly being a feeding consultant doesn’t make me immune to the perils of picky eating!
Lucy has been working with Organix for over ten years, supporting various campaigns and creating fun activities to support parents in helping their children to explore and enjoy good food. Lucy is supporting weaning week as a brand ambassador for Organix.
Lucy has appeared on BBC and Channel 4 documentaries and featured in many parenting magazines and newspaper articles on the subject of fussy eating. Lucy has worked in feeding clinics and supported children with a variety of feeding challenges ranging from dysphagia and hypogeusia to spectrum disorders, food neophobia and ARFID.
Lucy would like to impart her knowledge to help you and your children have fun and enjoy good food.
Please be aware that we will be recording our workshops and uploading them to our website when finished. If you do not wish to be on video please disable your camera when you join.
